Presentation Proposal Form


The Maine Health Care Association invites you to submit written proposals for educational seminars for the following:

 

General Seminars:

General seminars are half-day to full-day programs offered on a variety of topics throughout the year. Seminar proposals should target one or more of the following: owners, administrators, business/financial staff, activity coordinators, dietary/food service staff, environmental services personnel, directors of nursing/nursing staff, social work professionals and direct care staff. Proposal Deadline: Any time throughout the year.

Nursing Forum – April 2007:The goal of this program is to offer relevant programs for directors of nursing and members of the nursing staff. Proposal Deadline: January 31, 2007.

 

Leadership Symposium - June 5, 6 and 7, 2007: Our goal is to offer topics of interest and relevance to owners, administrators, and department heads of nursing and residential care facilities. Proposal Deadline: January 31, 2007.

 

Residential Care Conference - September 2007: The goal is to offer topics of interest and relevance to adult foster care homes, assisted living programs, independent living, and residential care facilities. Topics will be geared toward owners, administrators, business/financial staff, directors of nursing, and department heads. Proposal Deadline: March 31, 2007.

 

Fall Health Care Conference & Exposition - October 16-18, 2007 (Samoset Resort – Rockport, Maine): MHCA invites you to share your expertise with hundreds of long-term care providers at the 2007 Fall Health Care Conference and Exposition. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of relevant and interesting topics that fulfill the educational needs of members of the long term care provider community including: owners, administrators, business/financial staff, activity coordinators, dietary/food service staff, environmental services personnel, directors of nursing/nursing staff, and social work professionals. Proposal Deadline: Keynote Speakers - January 2007. Breakout Sessions - April 2007.

Speaker Biography: Please include a one-paragraph biography indicating speaker's applicable skills and professional background. First time presenters should include a list of presentations made within the past year and, if available, written feedback regarding presentations skills.
