Leadership Symposium

The Leadership Symposium is a 2-day event (offered in early June) that targets long term care professionals who serve as leaders in Maine facilities. The goal is to address current issues, challenges and practices pertinent to all levels of care.  This conference appeals mainly to individuals who serve in an administrative, leadership and/or management role – i.e. owners, administrators, executive directors, finance directors, department heads, managers, consultants, nurse leaders, and more.  

The educational objectives are typically focused on leadership concepts and methods, business practices, workforce development initiatives, communication, team building, recruitment and retention of employees, growing leaders, customer service principals and methods, staff stability, and more.
