Maine’s Cabinet on Aging hosts two virtual listening sessions to hear from older adults

Maine's Cabinet on Aging is hosting two virtual listening sessions to hear from older adults and their family members about ways that the State of Maine can serve, support, and recognize the needs of older people across the State.

The Cabinet on Aging was created by executive order of Governor Janet Mills in 2022 to help advance policies that support all Maine people in aging safely, affordably, and in ways and settings that best serve their needs. It brings together State government agencies to coordinate and advance work on a range of issues such as affordable housing and long-term services and supports; financial security and protection against fraud; access to information, broadband, and services; and engagement and employment in Maine's growing economy.

We hope you will encourage residents to join the Cabinet to identify the issues that are important to them.
