We are so excited to tell you about our NEW E-Learning Program. In response to member requests, this year, our educational calendar will include at least one e-learning seminar every month. These “live” broadcasts will be offered in short segments (1-3hrs) using the online ZOOM platform. Each program will be a stand-alone session so, should you decide to participate, you will register and pay for e-learning seminars individually. For details about CEU requirements, process and more, see the E-Learning Program Overview.
Program Description: Building strong relationships and partnerships is an essential part of providing high quality healthcare and supportive services to those in your care. Whether you’re serving residents, interacting with families, working alongside others, advocating for residents’ care needs, responding to managers and how professionalism and credibility are critical to your success. This program will focus on three key areas: (1) how professionalism builds trust and confidence with your customers, (2) how to develop good relationships with co-workers and customers while maintaining appropriate boundaries, and (3) building a great reputation through 6 essential professional behaviors.
How to Register: The Invitation to Register has been sent to our MEMBER Education Email List. If you are employed by a member facility and would like to receive future communications about our E-Learning Seminars, you may send your contact information to Dianne Chicoine at email@example.com. To enroll in this session, use the link provided in the Invitation to register online and process your credit card payment through PayPal®. Please note, you do not need a PayPal® account to use this service; you can process your payment as a PayPal guest.
Fee: $30 per registrant
Web Platform: MHCA will utilize the ZOOM platform to conduct this e-learning seminar. To participate, all you need is an electronic device, internet access and audio capability (via phone or built in speakers); a webcam is also helpful but not required.
