Managing Difficult Behaviors
Behaviors can have a large impact on your resident’s quality of life. It is vital as Activity Professionals that we piece together the puzzle to provide quality services and programming that meets their individualized needs and understand that behaviors are nothing more than a means for communication when words are no longer effective. This session will provide an in-depth look at behavior interventions.
Program Objectives:
- Gain knowledge and confidence in person-specific interventions.
- Learn the importance of building relationships with the persons we serve.
- ?Focus on interventions that can help improve quality of life.
