Title:  Strategies for Responding to COVID-19 in Long-Term Care

Program Description: 
With COVID-19 cases being confirmed in several long-term care communities in Maine, now more than ever, it is essential to have strategies in place to protect residents, families, staff, and the community at large. Do you know where to find the latest resources to help you proactively respond to this public health crisis? Do you have systems in place to comply with new regulations? Join us to review key areas of concern for long-term care providers including stimulus payments and reporting practices, required documentation for confirmed cases and the impact on the MDS, CMS waivers, transparency measures, infection control policies, and more.
How to Register:  The Invitation to Register will be sent to our MEMBER Education Email List.  If you are an MHCA Member, and would like to receive notifications about the E-Learning Program, send your contact information to Dianne Chicoine at dchicoine@mehca.org.  To enroll in this session, use the link in the Invitation to complete the online registration form and process your credit card payment through PayPal®, MHCA’s online payment system. Please note, you don’t need a PayPal® account to use this service; you can process your payment as a PayPal guest.
Fee:  $30 per registrant
Web Platform:  MHCA will utilize the ZOOM platform to conduct this e-learning seminar. To participate, all you need is an electronic device, internet access and audio capability (via phone or built in speakers); a webcam is also helpful but not required. If you’re new to Zoom, we encourage you to visit their Help Desk in advance.
