The Nurse Manager Certificate Program was created, specifically, for Unit Supervisors and Charge Nurses, to cultivate leadership and communication skills and fine tune the skills needed to build an effective team, navigating difficult situations, managing conflict, direct/manage staff, learn coaching supervision methods and more. During this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, we feel it is essential to create space for nurse leaders to connect with peers, participate in education and support one other. To make it easier for Unit Supervisors and Charge Nurses to participate, we've condensed the curriculum to offer the course online (via ZOOM), in shorter sessions.
MHCA's first Online Nurse Manager Certificate Program will be offered from December 11, 2020 to January 29, 2021. We will meet every Friday (except for Christmas and New Year’s Day) beginning at 1:30PM each day. For more details, please refer to the NMCP Brochure.
