Navigating Activities Now: Individualized Out of the Box Programming (WB2102)

Program Description:  During COVID-19, many activity professionals have found themselves asking the question, now what?  Restrictions on visitation and movement within communities, coupled with social distancing and other practices designed to keep everyone safe, have caused long-term care centers to reevaluate their approach to activities. Using the domains of wellness from the federal guidelines, this program will focus on best practices for creating a new program of services, developing truly individualized care plans, and improving the quality of life for residents in your care. We will explore out of the box programming ideas and focus on self-reflective practices designed to support cultural changes in our communities.
