Self-care is an essential part of social work practice, but it is rarely addressed in practical terms. Without strategies for maintaining personal health and well-being, while caring for others, social workers are at risk for burnout, stress, and high turnover. This two-part program tackles the role of self-care in social work practice including stewardship, ethical responsibility, self-care practices, personal assessment, strategies for prioritizing self-care, and more. For a detailed description of each session, you may refer to the Event Flyer.
This two-part webinar series will be hosted LIVE and online (via Zoom) from 1:00PM to 3:00PM on May 26 & 26, 2021. If you are new to Zoom, we recommend that you visit the Help Desk in advance to take advantage of their free tutorials.
