Title:    Seven Tools for Your Supervisor’s Toolbox

Program Description: 
Leading and supervising can be one of the most challenging aspects of a manager’s job, especially during difficult circumstances.  How do great leaders connect with their team and get them to follow their lead?  This session focuses on the seven tools supervisors have at their disposal to make them better, more effective team leaders. Topics to be discussed include the importance of having the right mindset, the difference between coaching and counseling, and the type of leadership style that leads to win-win situations for everyone. Attendees will leave the session with tools for improving credibility, motivating staff, refining your message, and showing your team The Big Picture when leading.
How to Register:  The Invitation to Register will be sent to our MEMBER Education Email List. If you are an MHCA Member, and would like to receive notifications about the E-Learning Program, send your contact information to Dianne Chicoine at dchicoine@mehca.org. To enroll in this session, using the link in the Invitation, complete the online registration form and process your credit card payment through PayPal®, MHCA’s online payment system. Please note, you don’t need a PayPal® account to use this service; you can process your payment as a PayPal guest.
Fee:  $49 per registrant
Web Platform:  MHCA will utilize the ZOOM platform to conduct this e-learning seminar. To participate, all you need is an electronic device, internet access and audio capability (via phone or built in speakers); a webcam is also helpful but not required. If you’re new to Zoom, we encourage you to visit their Help Desk in advance.
