There are prerequisites for participating in this State-Approved program. If your certification has expired, or you are seeking to become a NHA Preceptor for the first time, you must complete the following requirements in advance:

  1. Complete the online NAB/ACHCA AIT Preceptor Training Modules (and pass the corresponding post-tests), and
  2. Submit a copy of your NAB Certificates to MHCA on or before the date of the program.

These online training modules, and the corresponding AIT Program Manual, are free resource for both you and your AIT. There are four modules included in the NAB/ACHCA training. Preceptors who are currently certified (taking this course to renew their certification), are exempt from this requirement.
