Fall Health Care Conference & Expo
The Fall Health Care Conference & Expo is MHCA’s largest event. In addition to providing two days of education, covering topics that have appeal across disciplines, this event includes an exposition to showcase the latest products and services available. About 55% of attendees serve in an administrative role, 25% serve in a clinical capacity, 15% provide a service to residents (food service, activities, housekeeping, facility management), and the remaining 5% serve the industry in some other capacity.
MHCA going "virtual" with our annual Fall Health Care Conference & Trade Show!
Given the significant challenges COVID-19 has presented for care communities across Maine, MHCA has decided not to meet in-person for our annual Fall Health Care Conference & Expo this year. However, in the midst of a pandemic, we feel it is important to offer opportunities for you to share experiences and knowledge with each other so we are planning a fully virtual conference/trade show in October.
Going "virtual" requires significant changes to our conference format and platform but our team is definitely up for the challenge. We're working diligently to ensure that our "virtual" event provides opportunities for you to participate in both "live" and "on-demand" educational sessions, network with peers, engage with exhibitors in "real" time, earn CEUs, and have a little fun.
More information about our virtual event with be forthcoming. In the meantime, we want to extend our sincere appreciation to you for the incredible work you do on a daily basis to protect and serve our most vulnerable citizens.
