ICF Administrator or AIT Candidate
Are you a proven leader with a passion for building and leading a team of dedicated staff who are caring, knowledgeable and experienced? Independence Advocates of Maine is seeking applicants for Administrator at Treats Falls House Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. (ICF/IDD).
Treats Falls House serves 17 adults at a beautiful new facility in Orono Maine and enriches the lives of people with disabilities by promoting independence, health, family ties, community inclusion and natural supports.
This is a full time position that requires a nursing home administrator license from the State of Maine.

Requirements The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
  1. Baccalaureate or higher degree (preferred) from an accredited college or university in    Administration, Health Care Administration, Long-Term Care Administration or a health related field, such as nursing or social work; or in any field, plus proof of one of the following:
    1. A Certificate of Advanced Study in Long Term Care Administration from an accredited college, or
    2. Twelve (12) semester hour credits from an accredited college with not fewer than six (6) in management and the balance in health care or long-term care. (Graduates of college or university programs granted Academic approval by NAB will be considered to have met this educational requirements)
  1. Be at least 21 years of age.
  2. Be of good record and reputation for honesty and reliable conduct in personal and business affairs.
  3. Five or more years of management experience (or progressively more responsible administrative /management experience) in the field of human services; disability services preferred.
  4. Excellent organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication.
  5. Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and communication.
  6. Must have self-initiative and excellent problem solving skills.
  7. Must be willing to be on-call for the ICF/IDD.
  8. Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation with ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives
An Administrator in Training (AIT) Program may be set up for the right candidate.
