Position Information

Country Manor, healthcare facility located in Cooper Mills, has an immediate opening for MDS Coordinator/Infection Preventionist.
 
This position offers flexible hours and will be a dual role consisting of 20 hrs in the role of MDS Coordinator & 20 hrs in the role of Infection Preventionist.
 
Duties will include managing the entire MDS process, completing assessments and developing care plans and ability to provide guidance of key principles related to preventing the transmission of communicable diseases and infections.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
· A friendly, team-oriented disposition
· Flexibility, and be detailed oriented
· Understanding of PDPM
· Experience in a long term care or rehabilitation setting
· RN required
· Experience with the MDS is preferred but not required
· State of Maine License
