Navigating the 2025 CMS Changes to Guidance and the Critical Element Pathways
Please join MHCA and our partners from AHCA for a virtual training session where we'll break down recent, significant changes in guidance and provide you with the tools and knowledge needed to implement them smoothly. Presenters:
Hawley Hunt is the Senior Director of Regulatory and Quality Services for AHCA. Before joining AHCA, she was an Administrator for several years in a skilled nursing facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Hawley has a bachelor’s degree in health services management, and a dual master’s in health care administration and master’s in business administration from Pfeiffer University. Hawley has a passion for the long-term care, especially quality improvement and caring for residents with dementia diagnoses.
Amy Miller is currently the Director of Clinical and Regulatory Services with the American Health Care Association. She is a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience in skilled nursing and long-term care. She has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Misericordia University in Pennsylvania, is a certified professional coder with the AAPC, and is also a certified resident assessment coordinator.

A week prior, MHCA will invite all registered participants to complete the form required to register for the Zoom webinar. Once complete, confirmation will be sent to the email you provided, which will include instructions for obtaining handouts and your link to the Zoom registration page that will need to be filled out to join the session on the day of the program.
Certificate:
To earn a Certificate, you must join the meeting using the link provided. In lieu of sign-in sheets, we will rely on the Attendee Report provided by the webinar platform (which documents attendee contact information and webinar join/end times). After the series is complete, and attendance verified, certificates will be issued to all eligible participants.
