The CMS Care Compare website and Five Star Rating continues to be a primary source of information for numerous stakeholders when vetting long-term care providers. With the numerous updates and changes to the quality measures, it’s critical for facilities to remain focused on what’s new and recognize how they can advance their quality performance.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the data sources and methodology for the three components of the CMS Five Start Quality Rating System.
- Recognize effective strategies to improve your CMS Five Star Rating and how to use this data in your AHCA National Quality Award application.
- Identify an approach that will assist with improving your Five Star Rating using your process improvement cycle and QAPI.
