LD 1718 An Act to Encourage Participation in Maine's Essential Support Workforce Through Access to Higher Education was recommended ought to pass by the Health and Human Services Committee and will soon be voted on by both the House and Senate. If passed, this bill would give direct care workers tuition assistance to pursue higher education for themselves or a loved one.
