Maine Health Care Association Meets Legislators at Hall of Flags

Today, January 11, the Maine Health Care Association hosted an open house and press conference in the State House Hall of Flags along with seven other direct care worker-oriented partners.

Numerous lawmakers from across the state stopped by to learn more about the state of the industry and the need to increase MaineCare reimbursement to ensure Maine's older and disabled adults continue to have access to nursing homes, assisted living centers, and residential care facilities. 

Three journalists covered the press conference, and we expect their coverage to air tonight.
