Legislative Update

The legislature has much to do before it's scheduled to adjourn next Wednesday. In particular for long term care, the budget has not yet been voted on by either chamber. The budget will likely be amended before the governor signs it, so we will continue to protect the long term care funding allocations in the current draft. 

Once again, thank you to those who've been involved in this legislative session. Your actions — whether testifying at the state house, submitting written comments, or using the advocacy toolkit — have been invaluable in reminding lawmakers of the importance of your work in helping Maine's people.
