Facility Assessment Action Brief

The Minimum Staffing Standards for long-term care centers includes significant updates to the Facility Assessment requirements. To assist centers in navigating these new requirements, AHCA has prepared an Action Brief, now available for download on ahcancalED (member login required).

The Action Brief provides a comprehensive overview of the updated rule and offers practical tips and steps for preparing for the assessment using the data-driven, evidence-based methods outlined in the rule. AHCA will publish additional resources in the coming weeks as CMS releases the associated Interpretive Guidance.
