iQIES Inactive User Policy Change

To align with CMS security policies, iQIES will begin implementing an inactive user policy this month. This policy will help ensure that our system remains safe and secure.
Regular system audits will be conducted to identify users who have not logged into the iQIES system in over 60 days. Inactive users will receive an email notification instructing them to log in to iQIES to keep their user roles and accounts active. If users do not log in, their iQIES roles will be revoked, and they will lose access to the system.

Even if your iQIES role access is revoked, your Health Care Quality Information Systems (HCQIS) Access Roles and Profile (HARP) credentials will remain active. Your HARP account information will not be affected and will be accessible once your iQIES user roles are restored. To restore your account, simply log into iQIES and re-request your user roles.

Please log in to iQIES regularly to avoid having your roles revoked and any potential delays in re-requesting access.

If you have any questions, please contact the iQIES Service Center by email at iqies@cms.hhs.gov
or by phone at 1-800-339-9313. You can also create a new support ticket, track an existing ticket, or recover your HARP password using the CCSQ Support Central: Self-Service Portal.
