NIOSH Rescinds Approval for some 3M Respirators

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has honored a request by 3M Scott Fire & Safety to voluntarily rescind 15 NIOSH respirator approvals issued to 3M Scott Fire & Safety. Effective May 15, 2024, any respirator marked with a NIOSH label and number listed in the NIOSH Respiratory Protective Device Information document are no longer NIOSH approved.
