Have you joined the LTC National Infection Prevention Forum?

The Long Term Care National Infection Prevention Forum (NIPF) was established in 2023 through a grant from the CDC Project Firstline. This forum serves as a platform for Long Term Care Infection Preventionists to connect, network, and share information and resources. Although the primary audience includes LTC-based Infection Preventionists, the forum is also open to nurses, administrators, and public health officials. Some of the key benefits members appreciate include:

Access to education and guidance from experts associated with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who address timely and challenging questions faced by Infection Preventionists in their communities.

Dedicated threads for "Hot Topics" and "Ask the CDC Expert" to enhance public knowledge and awareness, along with a resource library developed for the forum or shared by participants.

Networking opportunities to connect with influential leaders and public figures in the infection control and aged care communities.
