Approved supplemental budget removes NF bed hold cut

An earlier decision to reduce bed hold payments to nursing homes was rejected by legislators in the final version of the State Supplemental Budget.  After much debate, the final decision was made last week.  This bed hold reduction eliminated the direct care portion of the payment.  MHCA is checking into the effect of this vote on reduced bed hold payments that had already been made and will advise members on recourse.
