Celebrating Excellence in Long Term Care

Today at Thomas College, MHCA and over 100 people gathered to honor 20 caregivers dedicated to improving the lives of older adults across Maine. 

The event brought together honorees, their families, colleagues, and industry leaders to recognize the inspiring stories of this year's award recipients. These individuals go above and beyond to deliver quality care, fostering environments where residents feel valued, respected, and loved. From registered nurses and certified nursing assistants to support professionals, every awardee exemplified the heart of long term care: dignity, empathy, and tireless service.
