Nursing Home Staffing Task Force Survey

Recently, the Nursing Home Staffing Task Force, a collaborative effort among MHCA, LTCOP, and DHHS, held a listening session, Supporting Culture Change in Nursing Facilities. At the conclusion of the listening session, we asked you for your ideas on how the Task Force could best support long-term care leaders and staff as you continue to work towards workforce stabilization and enhancing culture change practices in your communities. We've created a short survey to get your feedback on the matter, and we greatly appreciate your participation. Please note that there is a write-in option to use if you have other ideas, or you can reach out to Amanda Nelson (Amanda.Nelson@maine.gov) or Ben Hawkins (bhawkins@mehca.org) if you have an idea you'd like to discuss. Click here to access the survey.

We had more than 60 participants on the call and many more who reached out afterward to request the recording. We want to especially thank Holly Harmon of AHCA, who led us through a meaningful and engaging conversation. We want to also extend our thanks to all of you who registered and participated in the call and for your willingness to share your experiences in implementing culture change practices in your long-term care communities, the impact those actions have had on staffing stabilization, and the challenges you were met with along the way. The energy and engagement on the call are a testament to the commitment you show every day to serve our long-term care communities. In case you missed it or if you'd like to share it with a colleague, here is the link to the recording:
