Join Us at the State House to Meet Legislators – January 30th

We're excited to invite you to the State House in Augusta on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, to connect with Maine legislators and advocate for the needs of long term care providers and the people we serve.

 

Event Details:

  • When: Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Where: State House, Augusta, Maine
  • What: Meet with legislators, share your stories, and promote long term care
  • Why: This event is a unique opportunity to ensure that the voices of long term care providers are heard loud and clear at the State House. Legislators need to understand the challenges you face and the critical role you play in Maine

 

Each facility is encouraged to bring banners and promotional materials highlighting your services. Space is limited to 15 tables, so please reserve early if you're interested.

 

How to RSVP:

Please email me at bhawkins@mehca.org by Wednesday, January 15, with:

  • The name(s) and number of people attending from your organization
  • Whether you would like to reserve a full table for your facility or are willing to share if needed

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the critical role of long term care in Maine and to strengthen relationships with policymakers. Your participation will make a significant impact.
