Residential Care Facility Rate Letters Now Posted
Residential Care Facilities, Section 97-C provider rate letters are now posted online in the portal. The Service Provider Tax (SPT) has been officially repealed as of January 1, 2025 and as such the tax has been removed from provider's rate letters. The State has previously announced the unwinding of the SPT after CMS raised concerns about the tax as explained in this
notice. The Department has also
published an FAQ on the repeal.
