CMS Further Delays Implementation of Surveyor Guidance Changes

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued QSO-25-14-NH today, updating previous guidance released on November 18, 2024, and January 15, 2025. These earlier updates introduced significant changes to surveyor guidance across multiple regulatory areas.
In this latest memo, CMS delayed the effective date from March 24, 2025, to April 28, 2025. Additionally, CMS announced that revised surveyor resources will be released on April 28, 2025.
