QuEST Reminder: Value Based Payment Program Requirements for Nursing Facilities
Nursing homes are reminded that they must designate a quality champion and participate in DHHS designated Nursing Facility Quality Improvement and Technical Assistance events as part of the requirements for the Year 1 Value Based Program payment. These events are offered monthly, typically on the last Wednesday of each month. Facilities must attend at least seven (7) hours of Department- designated events by October 1, 2025 and maintain documentation of this requirement.
