Save the Date: Long Term Care Workforce Recruitment and Retention Education Series

The Maine Health Care Association is thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new initiative to help you with your hiring needs called Bridging Communities through Employment: Recruiting and Maintaining a Diverse Workforce in Long Term Care.

Bridging Communities through Employment is a series of FREE virtual and live in-person events across the State of Maine.

Beginning in September, this grant funded initiative is designed for administrators, hiring managers, HR personnel, executives from nursing homes, residential care facilities, assisted living programs, and other long term care homes and services throughout the state.

Participants will come together to explore innovative approaches, best practices, and strategies to attracting, hiring, and retaining employees from diverse populations, including New Mainers.

Free webinar: Employment Compliance When Hiring and Supporting New Mainers

In this two-hour webinar with immigration attorney Kate Drabecki, we will explore employment compliance when hiring and supporting New Mainers.
