Residential Care Facilities (Section 97-C) New Rates Effective January 1, 2026

Effective January 1, 2026, MaineCare is adjusting Residential Care Facilities (MaineCare Section 97, Appendix C) rates to support wage increases for essential support workers. Adjustments will be made to the case-mix index portion of the direct care rate, as well as the fixed costs from the latest cost reports.

MaineCare will provide a future notice when rate letters are available.
