AHCA Resource for Antipsychotic Measure

AHCA is excited to announce the release of a new resource addressing the revised long-stay antipsychotic medication measure. The goal of this resource is to provide enhanced clarity to this complicated measure and is free for AHCA members.
 
This tip sheet includes a breakdown of each component of the measure, including a detailed explanation of the various exclusions. Also included are key coding requirements of the measure, important considerations, and action steps for quality improvement related to antipsychotic medication use and documentation practices.
