CoreQ Reminder

Have you opted in to the special pricing MHCA has secured for all nursing home members?

After meeting with and carefully reviewing multiple vendor pitches, Maine Health Care Association (MHCA) has identified a high-quality vendor to manage the CoreQ Resident and Family Satisfaction Survey CoreQ. Align30 (formerly known as MyInnerView), a leader in the field of data collection for continuous quality improvement, stood out among the large pool of potential vendors.

MHCA is pleased to share that we have negotiated group pricing for MHCA members for Align's services, ensuring that data collection is easy for your consumers to complete, putting you in the best position for the value-based payment (VBP) bonus pools.

While you are welcome to go with a vendor of your choice, this letter provides important information about the services we have negotiated, as well as opting out of Align, should you decide to go with a different vendor.

Pricing and Services
Negotiated pricing and included services:
  • $195 one-time set up fee, per location includes CoreQ surveys provided via e-mail and text based on a provided mailing list, along with access to Align's robust reporting platform, featuring an interactive dashboard with easily visualized survey results identifying areas of strength, and pinpointing opportunities for improvement. The dashboard's visual analytics turn raw data into meaningful insights, supporting informed conversations and data-driven decision-making at your centers.
  • Align will submit CoreQ results directly to AHCA's Long Term Care Trend Tracker. AHCA will then share CoreQ scores with the State of Maine as part of the VBP model for nursing homes.
  • Monthly EMR data transfer, to ensure automatic electronic data, $20.00 per month, billed annually, per location.
  • Option for paper surveys at a rate of $3.95 per resident, per survey.
Listed below are additional services offered by Align that may be useful but are not part of the negotiated pricing. The costs for the additional services will need to be discussed with Align.
  • Enhanced survey review, with targets improvement options

Next Steps
MHCA assumes that all nursing facilities will utilize Align. If, however, your facility prefers to go with a different vendor, you will need to opt out from services with Align. Directions on opting out are below.

For those facilities moving forward with Align please do the following:
  • ASAP email Align Customer Experience Manager, Cheryl Hill (chill@align30.com) to provide appropriate facility contact name and information.
  • This email will trigger the contracting process between your facility and Align (MHCA is not involved in the actual contracting process between your center and Align).

For those facilities choosing to opt out of contracting with Align, please email Align Customer Experience Manager, Cheryl Hill (chill@align30.com), noting that you are opting out of service.

MHCA believes the partnership with Align will support your continued efforts to enhance resident and family satisfaction.
