AHCA/NCAL Training Opportunity & Discounts for Activity Professionals!

HCA/NCAL has entered a product discount partnership with the National Certification Counsel for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) for its nursing facility Activity Director Certified course and with the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) for its National Assisted Living Enrichment Certification course for assisted living activity professionals.
NCCAP's Activity Director Certification (ADC) Course
The ADC course is self-paced and provides the educational foundation required for individuals seeking eligibility to apply for NCCAP's ADC credential. This credential meets the professional standards of practice to lead, manage, and direct an activities and life enrichment department and evaluate its effectiveness. The ADC credential helps ensure compliance with F680 – the CMS requirements for nursing facility activity professional qualifications.
ADC course registration includes the national ADC certification exam, a two-year recognition of the NCCAP ADC credential upon successfully completing the exam with a score of 70 percent or higher, and a two-year membership in the National Association of Activity Professionals.

NAAP's National Assisted Living Enrichment Certification Course
The National Assisted Living Enrichment Certification Course is designed to equip life enrichment and activity professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in assisted living/residential care settings. This training and certification are ideal for assisted living staff entering the activities field or advancing their activities and senior care careers.
This self-paced, online course offered by the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) includes videos, readings, interactive tools and certification exam. The course delivers insight into the operational, ethical, and legal aspects of assisted living communities to help ensure that life enrichment and activities staff are well-prepared to enhance residents' quality of life.
