New MaineCare Online Portal

The Office of MaineCare Services (OMS), in partnership with Gainwell Technologies, announced that in October 2026 it will be launching an upgraded MIHMS, the claims processing system, to bring enhanced security, improved usability, and a more modern experience to better support providers' day-to-day work.

The upgrade will include a new “MaineCare Partner Portal” that will replace what is known today as the “Health PAS Online Portal.” Please note that, until the October go-live, they will continue using the name “Health PAS Online Portal” in communications related to current functionality.

Providers should be looking for additional announcements about training later this summer in advance of the go live date. Providers are considered “trading partners” which includes providers, billing agents, health plans, clearing houses and business associates.
