The CDC has released the Q2 2026 NHSN Newsletter, a useful touchpoint for anyone working with the National Healthcare Safety Network across any care setting. This edition covers updates to the Analysis and Antimicrobial Use and Resistance (AUR) modules, Long-term Care Facility Component highlights, Dialysis Component updates, Hemovigilance reminders, and education and training resources. If your facility uses NHSN for infection surveillance reporting — and Maine SNFs are required to — this is worth a read to stay current on system changes and reporting expectations.
