Reminder: Communication during transitions still critical to protecting against COVID-19

As we start to navigate what the world might be like absent the state of emergency, MHCA would like to remind members that there is still much concern across the healthcare continuum regarding transmission of Covid-19. When residents are moving from your home to another provider such as a hospital setting it is important to communicate current Covid status of your community. If your home is experiencing an outbreak that information will help the hospital take the steps necessary to protect their staff and other patients to the potential spread of COVID-19. We ask that you continue to work in partnership with your fellow healthcare providers as we continue our diligence regarding this disease. As always thank you for all you do.
