StrengthenME Work Force EAP launches website to share FREE resources for healthcare workers

Yemaya St. Clair, EAP Counselor from NorthernLight joined the Virtual Fall Conference recently to present a breakout session as well as to assist in facilitating a health care worker self-care listening session. She introduced the StrengthenME initiative, a variety of services funded by the State of Maine to support the mental health needs of healthcare workers as the pandemic continues.

In recent days, StrengthenME has launched a website which can be found here. Supports include master classes for leaders, workshops for frontline workers, lunch and learn wellness workshops, life coaching, the Maine FrontlineWarmline, leadership consultations, and wellness groups. All services are entirely FREE of charge and can be accessed for individuals or groups of employees. Each offering is highly customizable with the goal of reducing barriers for staff to receive the help they need.
