MHCA issue brief calls for support on the long road to provider recovery

Attached please find MHCA's newest issue brief, LTC Pandemic Recovery: A long road to provider sustainability. The paper illustrates the long term care staffing crisis, industry job loss, reimbursement and occupancy challenges. It also calls on legislators to support providers in the short term and evaluate systemic changes in the longer term.
 
Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the issues and note that we will have a broader call to legislative action for the membership in the coming days.
