BEAM Begins Enrollment and Kickoff

As many of you are aware MHCA was awarded grant funding in early 2020 to address the unmet need for quality bereavement education and resources in nursing homes (BEAM: Bereavement Education and Mindfulness). These resources are not just for residents and families but for our staff caregivers as well. This has never been more apparent than in the last year while our homes have dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic. In the next few weeks facilities who have expressed interest in participating and receiving these free tools will begin to receive their enrollment packets.
