Panelists Wanted for Caring for ME Healthcare Recruitment Events & Direct Care Workers Needed to Tell their Stories

Maine Health Care Association is assisting the Caring for ME healthcare worker recruitment campaign by identifying volunteers who might be willing to share their experiences in long term care. The campaign's goal is to recruit more entry-level direct care employees in Maine into healthcare fields.

In addition to the newly launched website Caring for ME, the marketing campaign is seeking three panelists for some virtual conversations around career pathways. MHCA is really hoping that long term care will be represented during some of these events. The campaign is looking for:
  • Someone who has experience with the overview of multiple career pathways in direct care and behavioral health;
  • Someone who has experience on the training side of the field, and
  • Someone who has direct experience in the field and can provide a relatable story.

They are also seeking a moderator to facilitate the event and ask panelists questions to help guide the conversation. It is anticipated that these will be one-hour conversations held virtually at some point in June.

In addition, the campaign is looking for direct care workers and their clients/ residents who might be willing to tell their story together as part of a video testimonial project for the new website.
