Danielle came to MHCA with a diverse healthcare background in care delivery, quality, and performance improvement. She earned Master's degrees in clinical psychology and industrial and organizational psychology and held a license as a Clinical Social Worker from 2001 to 2012. Her experience includes work in the public sector, nationally for the CMS Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), led quality and performance improvement efforts at d'Youville Pavilion, and served as a clinical case manager and utilization coordinator for Spring Harbor Hospital. While at MHCA, Danielle has provided technical assistance and regulatory expertise in support of our members' mission. She has developed numerous education programs, worked side by side with member leaders on grant opportunities and assisted Maine LTC providers with the development of quality assurance programs, competency assessments, and multiple toolkit resource guides.
“I am heartbroken to be leaving ‘my people'. I have worked as an advocate for LTC for so long it is hard for me to imagine doing anything else. This opportunity will provide me with the ability to affect change in a large health system. A health system that is in my home community. I was born there; my father was born there. This is my chance to give back and be a positive addition to the leadership team. I am excited to begin a new path in my professional development,” said Danielle.
Please join with me in thanking Danielle for her many years of dedicated service and wishing her all the best in her future endeavors.
