Catherine Cutler Institute offers free web-based Fatigue Training for Caregivers!
With funding from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), USM's Catherine Cutler Institute developed a free
, web-based
Sleep Deprivation & Fatigue Training for caregivers. This program aims to:
- Help workers understand the importance of sleep and risks associated with fatigue.
- Identify the sources of fatigue for long-term care workers.
- Introduce tools and strategies to help manage the risks associated with fatigue.
The course takes about 45 minutes to complete and focuses on the safety of the worker. In addition, attendees may login when convenient and complete the training at their own pace. You may
