Financial Incentive for Nurses

As part of the national initiative to improve staffing in LTC, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced financial incentives to increase recruitment and retention in LTC.

Here's What to Know:
Qualified nurses may be eligible to receive:
  • Up to $40,000 for student loan repayment
  • Up to $10,000 for living expenses
 
Qualification Eligibility Includes:
  • Those in an RN, LP and/or LVN role
  • Recent nursing graduates
  • Ability to-- or current commitment of-- 3 years at no less than 30 hours per week of work within a qualified nursing home.
