LeadingAge to Merge Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire

LeadingAge Maine & New Hampshire, announced this week a merger with LeadingAge Massachusetts effective January 1, 2027, creating a regional association to include Vermont, which does not currently have a state affiliate.
The combining of resources should allow for more operational efficiencies and a stronger advocacy voice across the four states.

Leading Age Maine& New Hampshire is an affiliate of LeadingAge, representing more than 5,000 nonprofit aging service providers serving nursing homes, assisted living communities, Life Plan Communities, and federally assisted and market-rate senior housing.
