The updated rule for Chapter 6: Delegation of Nursing Activities and Tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel by Registered Professional Nurses originally enacted as Public Law Chapter 592 in 2024, clarifies standards for task delegation while upholding a nurse's professional judgment to refuse delegation. The final, approved rule will be available on the Board of Nursing website or clicking this link starting May 14.
