Audience:
Conference averages 400 to 500 individuals, which includes attendees, exhibitor reps, speakers and staff. Target audience includes Owners, Administrators/Executive Directors, Department Heads (Directors of Nursing, Activities, Social Work, Maintenance, Food Service), Therapists and other facility personnel.
We are aware that people are receiving emails purporting to sell our conference attendees list. MHCA does not sell its attendees list, nor do outside groups have access to our lists. Exhibitors are provided a free copy (no emails) as part of their registration fee.
Attendee Engagement Opportunities:
In addition to structured marketing opportunities (exhibition booths), MHCA gives exhibitors other opportunities to interact with attendees in more casual ways: Mike McNeil Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament (Tuesday), Early Bird Dinner (Tuesday), and the Connection Reception & Dinner (Wednesday).

In addition to providing detailed information on the exhibitor experience, these materials outline our meal and refund policies as well as highlight important deadlines.
Hotel Accommodations:
While MHCA reserves all hotel rooms at the Samoset Resort, the hotel does not have enough rooms to accommodate the 400 to 500 individuals who register for our conference. We have made arrangements with the following local hotels to accommodate the overflow of attendees, as well as be the primary hosts for our exhibitors.

For the above hotels, exhibitors should book their rooms by calling the hotel directly and saying they’re with MHCA. If you book online, you MUST use the hotel website and not a 3rd party app like Expedia, etc. When booking on the hotel website, there should be a comment box where you indicate that you are with MHCA. The hotel will adjust the rate accordingly.

Contact the hotel location directly and say you are with Maine Health Care Association. The discounted rates are not available online.

- Mike McNeil Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament: Registration opens at 9:00, with shotgun tee off at 10:00 a.m., Prizes: Individual and team awards PLUS a chance to win $10,000 for Hole in One! Sponsorship Opportunities/Registration Individual players will be paired with others to form teams.
- Early Exhibitor Registration & Booth Setup: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Preconference Quality Award Workshop: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Early Bird Dinner: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (optional, additional fee)
Wednesday, October 28:
- Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. (optional, additional fee)
- Education Sessions: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Exhibitor Setup: 7:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (registration desk open from 7:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)
- Exhibit Hall Hours: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Exhibitor Lunch: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (included in Day 1 Meal Package)
- Afternoon Break: 2:15 p.m. - 2:45 (assorted sodas and sparkling waters available)
- Connection Reception & Dinner: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (included in Day 1 Meal Package, evening reception, dinner and auction)
Thursday, October 29:
